Workers with Keith Simpson Construction of Benton finish the approaches to the new bridge on Wakefield Avenue near the Sikeston Power Plant. Construction began on the project in January, according to Jay Lancaster, public works director for the city of Sikeston, and was built with assistance of federal funds through the Missouri Department of Transportation.
