Hired protestors are undermining nation

Sunday, May 24, 2015

As a rule, I normally refrain from commenting on the political scene in this Sunday column, leaving that nasty work for mid-week.

But a little-reported story this week on the Ferguson #BlackLivesMatter protests raised my temperature to the boiling point.

It was reported that a group of professional protesters - as everyone had expected - were in fact hired to the tune of $5,000 a month to come to Ferguson and participate or organize the protests.

Hired by a Missouri organization that replaced ACORN when they went bankrupt, the group was funded by ultra-liberal billionaire George Soros.

But the protesters are now staging a counter protest because they have not been paid.

In that, I find great humor and irony.

The glaring problem here is that the phony staged-protest movement was less than spontaneous. It was an organized and well-funded attempt to sow the seeds of chaos and promote violence.

The Soros-funded protests were designed to attract maximum media attention and to portray America as a country out of control with massive injustices against minorities.

And though many of the protesters surely were Ferguson residents who wanted to display their concerns, it's equally important to note that much of the movement was a staged event organized and funded by anarchists.

We have ample issues in society that should be addressed. But it's essential to recognize that there are forces of evil in society who seek to undermine this great nation and create chaos to further their socialist agenda.

In a sane world, George Soros and his ilk would be charged with treason and jailed for the rest of their miserable lives.

But in so many ways, the world is no longer sane.

Protests against law enforcement have increased since Ferguson and there is an increase in the violence against law enforcement.

All of this is the result of a handful of professional agitators whose goal and purpose is to destroy this nation from within.

Unions have been notorious for staging protests with union members bused into a location in an attempt to give the impression that the protests are greater than they truly are.

But the Soros tactics take that a step further. And that step is a dangerous one.

I suspect many people realized during the Ferguson riots that many of those involved were not Missouri residents and that their agenda was clearly to destroy and create mayhem.

Now we have validation that our suspicions were correct.
