Benton man jailed for domestic assault

BENTON - A Benton man is in jail after an argument which escalated into an assault.

Gregory T. Nall, 39, is charged with felony domestic assault after Scott County Sheriff's deputies responded Sunday to a report of a domestic assault at a residence outside of Benton.

The victim told deputies he and Nall were arguing when Nall hit him in the face.

Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter reported that the victim stated he and Nall fell to the ground where Nall began choking him then kicked the victim in the testicles.

Nall was taken into custody by officers and currently is in custody at the Scott County Jail. Bond is set at $500 cash only and he is to have no contact with the victim.
