Three new slides, enclosed platform added to playground
SIKESTON -- One by one, preschool and kindergarten students on Friday took turns going down one of the three new slides recently added to the playground at SEMO Christian Academy in Sikeston.
Children smiled and laughed as they whooshed down the slide and as they watched their friends enjoy the newest addition to their playground.
The new playground equipment was structured and donated to the school by Terry Kellett of Kelpro Inc. in Sikeston.
"He's a new member on our school board, and he saw the need," aid Rita Ulmer, director of SEMO Christian Academy. "We're very grateful."
