PORTAGEVILLE -- Jon Garrett Kellams and Daniel McCray combined for six touchdowns during Portageville's 64-6 victory over Kelly Friday during its second to last game of regular season play.
Kellams, a senior, threw for 160 yards, one two-point conversion and four touchdowns on 9 of 10 passing. McCray added 94 yards on the ground. The senior running back also had two touch downs and two two-point conversions.
Sophomore Ian Torrey caught two passes for 63 yards and four touchdowns while Will Crysler added four catches, 51 yards and one touchdown. Lamar Alexander ran 11 times for 87 yards and one touchdowns.
"I was happy for the way our boys played last Friday under those circumstances. You have a game to play and they played. I really do not have any complaints," said head coach Jeff Bullock.
Ryan Priggel received two catches for 30 yards, and Hunter Gates had one catch for 16 yards and one touchdown.
The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against New Madrid County Central. The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, New Madrid County Central was ripped by Fredericktown 44-27, in a non-league challenge.
