The East Prairie Eagles squeaked out a 54-53 win over visiting Oran on Tuesday night.
East Prairie (4-1) trailed by three entering the fourth quarter but outscored Oran 19-15 in the final quarter to get the win.
Derez Tipler led East Prairie with 14 points while Cade Douglas added 11.
Max Priggel scored 20 to lead Oran (2-4) while Cole Priggel and Jacob Shoemaker each added 11.

Jalen Williams nailed a game-high 31 points to lead the undefeated Crusaders in the road rout of the winless Red Devils.

Zach Beel drained a game-high 31 points as the Cardinals crushed the Mules in the conference road rout.
Tyler Womack sank 13 points and Connor Goodwin tossed in 12 points for Woodland (5-1, 1-0 SCA Conference). The Cardinals held a 15-point lead at halftime and kept the Mules to five points in each quarter of the second half and outscored the hosts by 28 points.
Dalton Hopgood bucketed 15 points, all from behind the arc, and Nate Dillinger added 12 points to pace Bernie (1-5, 0-1).

Logan Yates posted a double-double, leading all players with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Cole Nichols added 15 points -- all on 3-pointers -- as the host Cubs pulled away from the Blue Jays.
Bobby Wright netted 13 points and Peyton Maddox added 10 points for Bell City (3-3). It was the second-straight game in which the Cubs held their opponent to under 30 points.

__Clarkton Holiday Tournament__
Seventh-seeded Portageville kept its consolation championship hopes alive with an overtime win over No. 6 Clarkton during the consolation semifinal round during the Clarkton Holiday Tournament.
Sophomore Ian Torrey scored a game-high 31 points and Chris Garmon added 21 for Portageville, who picked up its first win of the season.
Emanuel White led Clarkton with 20 points.
Portageville (1-4) led 43-36 after three quarters but was outscored 18-11 in the fourth to force the extra period.
The Bulldogs will face fourth-seeded Cooter, who routed No. 8 East Carter County in the other semifinal.
Cooter led 46-8 at halftime.
Kyler Barnes paced all scores with 28 and Landon Castelli added 22 for Cooter.

__Sikeston 65, NMCC 9__
The Sikeston wrestling team picked up a lopsided win over New Madrid County Central Monday on the road.
"We wrestled well for the most part," Sikeston coach Chris Lowe said. "The boys are getting lots of matches in at this early point of the season. Currently we have wrestled 15 duals, in both regular duals and dual style tournaments. We still have lots of room for improvement, but the boys are working hard every day to get better."
Sikeston will wrestle on Friday and Saturday at the annual Tiger Classic at Cape Central High School. Matches begin 5 p.m. on Friday and against at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

CHARLESTON -- The Sikeston seventh and eighth grade basketball teams split with Charleston on Tuesday at Charleston Middle School.
Sikeston's eighth graders improved to 8-0 on the season with a 59-40 win over Charleston's eighth graders while the Sikeston seventh graders fell to 2-8 on the season with a 43-32 loss to Charleston's seventh graders.
In the eighth grade game, Sikeston jumped out to a 22-13 lead after one quarter but Charleston trimmed the lead to 29-22 by halftime. The Bulldogs cushioned the lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Bluejays 20-6 in the period to lead 49-28 entering the fourth.
"This was a very hard-fought game for our team," Sikeston coach Derek James said. "Charleston came out and played with fire and worked really hard to get back in the game. I'm proud of our team for responding the way they did. We had a great third quarter."
Sikeston was led by Payton Howard with 18 points. Clark Steward followed up with 13 and Nick Harrison added 12.
Charleston was led by Bledsoe's 15 points.
In the seventh grade game, Sikeston trailed 28-9 at the half, but rallied to eventually trim the lead to 10 points but couldn't get any closer.
Sikeston was led by Leroy Atkins with 12 points and Marquis Johnson with eight. Davis led Charleston with 18 points.
Sikeston's junior high teams will host Cape Central tonight with seventh grade action starting at 5:30. It will be the season finale for Sikeston's seventh grade team.
