It is starting out as a rough season for the Portageville Bulldogs taking on three losses and heading in back-to-back tournaments. The 2015 Clarkton Christmas Tournament tipped off Monday afternoon with Gosnell having the first seed played East Carter County, eighth seed, at 4 PM. The 2015 Clarkton Christmas Tournament tipped off Monday afternoon with Gosnell having the first seed played East Carter County, eighth seed, at 4 PM. Fourth Seed Cooter played fifth seed Risco at 5:30. Second seed South Pemiscot played seventh seed Portageville at 7, and third seed Gideon played sixth seed Clarkton.

The tournament began Monday, Dec. 14 and will conclude Friday, Dec. 18.

The seedings have been released for the 2015 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

Bloomfield has received the No. 1 seed for the first time since 1965.

Kennett is seeded second, South Pemiscot is seeded third, Doniphan is seeded fourth, Malden is seeded fifth, Saxony Lutheran is seeded sixth, Hayti is seeded seventh, Dexter is seeded eighth, Twin Rivers is seeded ninth, East Prairie is seeded tenth, Puxico is seeded eleventh, Portageville is seeded twelfth, Bernie is seeded thirteenth,Van Buren is seeded fourteenth, Holcomb is seeded fifteenth and Richland is seeded sixteenth.

The tournament will take place Dec. 26, Dec. 28, Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 at Bloomfield High School.
