Clarkton - Freshman Nathan Burnett hit four 3-pointers and poured in 28 points to lead the Risco Tigers to a first round 75-62 upset during the Clarkton Holiday Tournament over Cooter on Monday.
The Tigers, seeded fifth, upset No. 4 Cooter to move on to the semifinals on Thursday at 6 p.m. where they will take on top-seeded Gosnell, Ark.
Drew Forter added 16, Ethan Pipkin scored 14 and Morgan Ludwig chipped in 13 for Risco (3-5).
Cooter's Dylan Smelley hit six 3-pointers to lead the Wildcats with 18 points.
Gosnell defeated eighth-seeded East Carter County 83-55. Cooter will play East Carter tonight at 6 p.m. during the consolation semifinals.

Freshman Dominique Hardimon scored a game-high 18 points during South Pemiscot's opening round win over No. 7 Portageville.
Kevin Burton added 17 and Steven Wilbourn added 10 for the second-seeded Bulldogs, who remain undefeated at 5-0 on the season.
Portageville (0-4) got 14 points from Ian Torrey.
South Pemiscot will take on third-seeded Gideon, 76-57 winners over No. 6 Clarkton, during the semifinals on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Portageville will play Clarkton tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the consolation semifinals.
