BROSELEY -- Portageville kept its consolation championship hopes alive with a 57-43 win over Kelly Monday during the Lady Royals Classic at Twin Rivers High School.

Portageville, the tournament's 12th seed, was led by Adrienne Duncan's 15 points. Jacara Madison chipped in 10.

Tori Duenne scored 19 points for Kelly, the 13th seed.

Portageville (4-3) will take on No. 9 Clearwater, 67-29 winners over East Carter County, during the consolation semifinals today at noon.

No. 14 New Madrid County Central pulled out an overtime win over Charleston during the consolation quarterfinals.

NMCC, who outscored Charleston 6-3 in the extra period, overcame a 45-39 deficit after three quarter to tie the game a 58-58 at the end of regulation.

Keisha Rainer led the Eagles with 24 points while Alexis Phillips scored 12 and Keiote Tillman added 10.

Charleston (4-3) was led by Connor Watkins' 18 and Cheyenne Randle's 17.

NMCC will play No. 7 Chaffee during the consolation semifinals today at 1:30 p.m.
