Harry A. Perry

Harry A. Perry passed away October 13, 2015 at Golden Living Center in New Madrid at the age of 89 years.

He was born June 3, 1926 in Matthews to the late Clarence Edward and Florence Weaks Perry.

On June 18, 1950, Harry was married to Helen Wathen who survives of the home.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

Those who survive to cherish Harry's memory include two daughters, Rita (Richard) Brands of Portageville, and Mary Kay (Phillip) Carter of New Madrid; one sister, Jean White of Jackson, MS; five grandchildren, Carri Haertling, Sara French, Jim Brands, Laura Carter and Matt Carter; and six great-grandchildren, Chase Haertling, Nicholas Haertling, Jacob French, Ella Brands, Avery Brands and Luke Higgerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 16, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid with Fr. Daniel Robles officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Jim Brands, Matt Carter, David LaValle, Ronald Pipkin, Benji French, John LaValle and Allen Williams.
