__About MICDS:__ The Rams are last year's state runner-up and have won their last seven games... Their last loss came from the three-time defending state champions and fellow Class 4 quarterfinalists Incarnate Word on Feb. 6... Missing last season because of a knee injury, Taylor Baur (6-2, Sr.) has made a big comeback this season. The forward was chosen as the Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists while shooting 53 percent from the floor. Baur will play for Princeton next season... fellow senior Rachel Thompson (5-9, guard) is the Rams' second Division I player averaging 12 points, five assists and four rebounds a game. She's signed with Colgate...Lauryn Hughes, the daughter of former NBA'er Larry Hughes, led the team with 18 points during the Rams' sectional win over Notre Dame St. Louis. The 5-10, junior guard puts in five points a game...
__About Dexter:__ The Bearcats are fresh off its sixth district championship in a row. Dexter is making its fourth quarterfinal appearance in five years making two trips to Columbia in the process... Point guard Dakota Reynolds (5-5, Sr.) has led the Bearcats the past five games with an average of 13 points. She hit five threes for 15 points to lead Dexter past Fredericktown Tuesday... Krysten Garrison, a 5-10 sophomore, has been Dexter best inside weapon. She's averaged 11 points the past five games including 31 points and 23 rebounds the past two games... Freshman Chaylea Mosby (5-5) has given the Bearcats an extra scoring threat pouring in 12 points a game the last five.
