__About Parkway West:__ The Longhorns have won their last 10 games and enter their first quarterfinal game since 2010 when they were in Class 5... 6-8, 210-pound junior Wyatt Yess leads Parkway West with a team-high 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game. Yess, who shoots 45 percent from the floor, has received offers from Missouri, St. Louis U. and Wyoming... Caleb Socha, a 6-2 senior guard, is second on the team with an average of eight points and shoots 38 percent (44 or 115) from three... Point guard Henderson Faulkner (5-7, Sr.) averages seven points and three assists a game... __About Sikeston:__ The Bulldogs enter its seventh quarterfinal game in the last 11 seasons but its first since 2013... They've won their last eight games after suffering its only loss to Cape Central Feb. 12... Fred Thatch (6-2, Soph.) leads the team with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds a game. He's second on the team with four assists and shoots 48 percent from the field, including 40 percent from three... Dominique Dyes (5-10, Sr.) is Sikeston's second-leading scorer at 16 per game. He shoots 42 percent (92 for 220) from three and is the team's top assist man at four a game... Juwon Kimble (6-3, Sr.) averages 12 points and is second on the team with five boards a game.

__About MICDS:__ The Rams are last year's state runner-up and have won their last seven games... Their last loss came from the three-time defending state champions and fellow Class 4 quarterfinalists Incarnate Word on Feb. 6... Missing last season because of a knee injury, Taylor Baur (6-2, Sr.) has made a big comeback this season. The forward was chosen as the Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists while shooting 53 percent from the floor. Baur will play for Princeton next season... fellow senior Rachel Thompson (5-9, guard) is the Rams' second Division I player averaging 12 points, five assists and four rebounds a game. She's signed with Colgate...Lauryn Hughes, the daughter of former NBA'er Larry Hughes, led the team with 18 points during the Rams' sectional win over Notre Dame St. Louis. The 5-10, junior guard puts in five points a game...

__About Dexter:__ The Bearcats are fresh off its sixth district championship in a row. Dexter is making its fourth quarterfinal appearance in five years making two trips to Columbia in the process... Point guard Dakota Reynolds (5-5, Sr.) has led the Bearcats the past five games with an average of 13 points. She hit five threes for 15 points to lead Dexter past Fredericktown Tuesday... Krysten Garrison, a 5-10 sophomore, has been Dexter best inside weapon. She's averaged 11 points the past five games including 31 points and 23 rebounds the past two games... Freshman Chaylea Mosby (5-5) has given the Bearcats an extra scoring threat pouring in 12 points a game the last five.
