County authorities looking for church bell

KENNETT, Mo. -- The Dunklin County Sheriff's Department is looking for a large Liberty-type bell and wheel used to ring the bell that recently were taken from Caruth United Methodist Church.

According to Sheriff Bob Holder, the bell was taken within the last two weeks. The church is on Route Y south of Kennett.

Anyone with knowledge of the theft is asked to call the Dunklin County Sheriff's Office at (573) 888-2409 or (573) 888-2424.
