Jaycee check presentation

The Portageville Jaycees presented a $700 check to the Beta Club of Portageville High School. The club will be participating in National Beta Convention in New Orleans, LA, after winning the State competition on March 5th in Branson in Group Talent, the first in Portageville School history. The Beta club members are, front, from left, Storm Kershaw, Mary Beth Simmons, Destiney Crossno, Jaycee members Geana Williams, Toyna Vannasdall, Lori Robinson, Lou Young, and Elizabeth Williams; middle are, Christina Brands, Ellis Abrahamsson, Tellasha Luster, Reagan Hunter Gates, Tanner Staffey, Peyton Leonard, Antwjuan Jones, and Daniel Carter. The JCI Portageville Jaycees are proud to sponsor their trip and wish them luck in their endeavors. The Jaycees challenge all organizations and businesses in Portageville to help make this trip possible for the Beta club.
