Blake Simmons went the distance to get the win on the mound for Charleston (9-7). He allowed three earned runs and recorded seven strikeouts and one walk.
Wyatt Allen took the pitching loss for Woodland (3-10).

Steven Christian was the winning pitcher for East Prairie (7-4). He threw three innings and gave up two unearned runs on one hit. He had one strikeout and walked two batters.
David Wells added a triple and three RBIs for the Eagles.
Christian Deen pitched 1 1/3 innings to take the loss for Campbell (2-6).

The East Prairie softball team picked up a pair of back-to-back shutout victories over their county nemeses Blue Jays on the road.
Grace Sutton went the distance in both games to get the wins for East Prairie, which improved its overall record to 7-2. She recorded a total of 14 strikeouts in both games to lead the Eagles.
Jocee Dunn had two triples and two RBIs for East Prairie while Jordan Harper accumulated two doubles and six RBIs for the Eagles.
Madyson McDermott sustained the loss in the circle both games for Charleston, which fell to 2-9. She had nine strikeouts and four walks in both games.

The Hawks were unable to net a single goal in the loss to the Indians on the road in Perryville, Mo.
Lauren Carron netted three goals and dished out an assist to lead St. Vincent (6-3). Corin Carroll and Kalli Seabaugh had two assists and one goal apiece for the Indians. Courtney Brewer, Molly Myers, Kaiti Schnurbusch and Kylie Zahner scored one goal each for the Indians while Cierra Boland had two assists and Faith Kapp and Autumn Francis had one assist each.
Brewer also had one save at the post as did fellow goalkeeper Brooke Lottes in the shutout.
Kelly fell to 5-7 with the loss. The Hawks host North County today.
