SHS senior are recognized for citizenship, scholarship

SIKESTON -- Claudea Kuykendall and Brody Stone were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for May.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names a male and female senior each month. Character, leadership, service, citizenship and scholastic ability are criteria used for the selection.

Kuykendall is the daughter of Becky and Danny Kuykendall. She is a member of DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, Red Pepper, Student Council, Junior Optimist, Link Crew, National Honor Society, A Plus, and she is the varsity soccer captain. In her spare time, she enjoys soccer.

Stone, who is the son of Tammy Toon and Jamie Toon, is a member of DECA, FBLA, varsity soccer, honor roll and Bums. He served as an officer in FBLA and Bums. His hobbies include chilling, frat stuff, volunteering at shelters, doing fun activities, jumping, hula hooping and knitting.
