Mollie Marie Girvin-Bachman

Mollie Marie Girvin-Bachman, 92, of Russellville, formerly of Dardanelle, passed away, Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

The daughter of Charles and Lula Rebecca (Davis) Shepherd, she was born Nov. 19, 1923 in Dardanelle.

She was graduate a of Arkansas Tech University. She married David Bachman, on April 8, 1982 in Sarasota, Fla. She was a Grade School Teacher with Portageville Elementary in Portageville, Mo. She was enjoyed Playing bridge, golf, travelling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mollie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John L. "Mike" Girvin Jr.; a son, John L. Girvin III(Elaine); a grandson, Shane Girvin; a brother, Gerald Shepherd; four sisters, Margaret Eikleberry, Nina DiNiro, Hazel Stewart and Bobbey Joe Halbrook.

Mollie is survived by her husband, Dr. David Bachman of Russellville, two sons Charles Girvin(Ruth Ella) of Ky., Mark Girvin(Jamie) of Colo., two step sons, David R. Bachman and Michael Bachman, four grandchildren, Michael Girvin of Nev, John Lewis Girvin(April) of Tracy Griffin(Grant) of Ky and Ryan Girvin(Amanda) of Ky.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in Dardanelle. Rev. Kelly Pearson and Rev. Paul Seay will officiate.
