FENTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston wrestling team swept a dual at Rockwood Summit Thursday.

The Bulldogs defeated Farmington 34-25 and the hosts 50-24.

Risco 71, Southland 24

CARDWELL, Mo. -- The Tigers led 35-2 after the first quarter and that was all it took to get their 12th win in a row in a Tri-County Conference tilt with Southland.

All 10 players scored for Risco (16-2, 6-0 conference) led by EJ Myers and his 15 points. Garrett Young added 11.

Cyrus Luke scored 11 while Seth Huffed added 10 for the Rebels (0-13, 0-5)

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Oran 64, Kelly 31

Sophomore Leah Cauble once again had another exemplary performance with a game-high 28 points and also recorded five rebounds and four steals to lead the Eagles in the conference road victory over the Hawks.

Freshman Kaylee Payne wasn't far behind with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Oran (17-1, 4-0 Scott-Mississippi Conference), which flew out to a 23-point lead at halftime and held the Hawks to single digits in the final three quarters. Jessie Long added nine points and eight rebounds for the Eagles.

Marissa Jones scored nine points to sustain Kelly (4-10, 2-1) in the loss. The Hawks travel to Charleston on Monday for another Scott-Mississippi Conference match-up.

Oran returns to the court on Saturday in the Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout at Charleston where the Eagles will take on Naylor at 6 p.m.

DELTA, Mo. -- Katie Glueck poured in 12 points as the Red Devils downed the Bobcats for the third time this season to get the conference win on the road.

Bailey Wiseman also contributed 12 points for Chaffee (11-7, 3-1 Scott-Mississippi Conference), which held a 10-point lead at halftime.

Lexi Berry and Tamera Crowden netted 10 points apiece to pace Delta (7-9, 1-4).

HILLSBORO, Mo. -- Samantha Coffee scored 20 points and had seven rebounds for third-seeded Scott County Central during their consolation semifinal win over the No. 7 St. Louis HomeSchool Patriettes Thursday at the 36th Annual Hillsboro Invitational Tournament.

Johneisha Daniel added 19 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks to help bas SCC (10-7)

Scott County Central will face fourth-seeded Cape Central, who upset No. 1 Hillsboro 47-44 in the other consolation semifinal, for the consolation championship at 2:30 p.m., Saturday.
