Seedings released for C3D1 basketball tournaments

The seedings have been released for the Class 3, District 1 boys and girls basketball tournaments.

The tournaments will take place Feb. 18, Feb. 20, Feb. 21 and Feb. 23 at Malden High School.

Charleston has received the No. 1 seed in the boys bracket. Charleston will play No. 8 seeded Kelly Feb. 18 at 3:15 p.m. in a quarterfinal. Other boys quarterfinals on Feb. 18 include: No. 2 seeded Caruthersville vs. No. 7 seeded East Prairie at 10:15 a.m., No. 3 seeded Kennett vs. No. 6 seeded Portageville at 12:45 p.m. and No. 4 seeded Malden vs. No. 5 seeded New Madrid County Central at 6 p.m.

Boys semifinals are Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The boys final is Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Girls semifinals are Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.The girls final is Feb. 23 at 6 p.m.
