EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - An East Prairie is facing charges following an investigation into a sexual assault.
The East Prairie Police Department reported the arrest of Kyle Thompson, 24, in connection with an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
According to the report, East Prairie Police Sergeant Shannon Lawson arrested Thompson on Friday for first degree statutory sodomy and first degree child molestation.
Bond is set at $200,000 cash only. Thompson is currently being held at Mississippi County Detention Center, according to a news release from the Department.
