One facing drug charges after traffic stop in East Prairie

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - An East Prairie man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 28 for Ronnie Brawner Jr., 36, who is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of drug paraphernalia.

The East Prairie Police Department reported Officer Andy Sitzes conducted a vehicle stop on Brawner on June 3. Doing the course of the traffic stop Sitzes developed probable cause to arrest Brawner, who was taken to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
