Charleston's Jeremy Tucker announced Sunday that he will play football for Southeast Missouri State University following his senior season next year.
Tucker made his verbal commitment known late Sunday night on Twitter.
"I am proud to say that I have committed to play football at Southeast Missouri State University," Tucker tweeted. "I want [to] thank God for allowing me to play the sport I love and allowing me to further my education. I can't express or say in words how happy and excited I am to be a Redhawk."
Tucker, a linebacker, led the Bluejays with 132 tackles his junior season. He also had 26 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles for the Charleston football team, who finished 4-7 and broke a 23-game losing streak dating back to the 2013 season.
