Even with all of the fanfare going on Saturday night with the Bidewell gym dedication, the Portageville Bulldogs took the t- bone away from the Gideon Bulldogs and buried it. Portageville won, 79-20. It all began when Bub Lance was able to make a fast break two-point layup, soon followed by a slam dunk by Ian Torry...

Even with all of the fanfare going on Saturday night with the Bidewell gym dedication, the Portageville Bulldogs took the t- bone away from the Gideon Bulldogs and buried it. Portageville won, 79-20.

It all began when Bub Lance was able to make a fast break two-point layup, soon followed by a slam dunk by Ian Torry.

Torry led with 19 points, Lance with 17 point and Hunter Gates with 9 points.

The Portageville Jayvee team also on their game, 31-28. They only played two quarters.

Winning this game was what Portageville needed going into the the Clarkton Christmas Tournament this week with the Second seed.

The Portageville team won Monday night's game against Seventh seed Cooter, 72-58, in the tournament quarter finals. The Bulldogs will now move into semi-final action on Thursday night. They will play St. Louis Christian Academy at 7:30.

The other semi-final game will be Risco and South Pemiscot with a 6:00 tip off time.

The championship game will be held Friday night at 8:30 and the consolation game is at 5:30, with the Third Place game at 7:00.
