CAMPBELL, Mo. - The No. 7 seeded North Pemiscot Mustangs outlasted the No. 8 seeded Southland Rebels 53-22 in the seventh-place game at the Campbell Christmas Tournament Friday afternoon.
North Pemiscot led 16-5 after one quarter and 24-13 at halftime before increasing its lead to 40-18 by the start of the fourth period.
Jaden Pipkins recorded a game-high 19 points for North Pemiscot. Austin Burns and Billy Moore also finished in double digits for the Mustangs with 13 and 11 points respectively.
Cyrus Luke paced Southland with 10 points.
North Pemiscot is back in action Jan. 2 when it hosts Portageville.
Southland hosts Gideon Jan. 5.
