BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Adam "Eddie" Newell Sr., 62, died Feb. 13, 2018, at his home near Bloomfield.
Born Oct. 8, 1955, son of the late Adam Lee and Bertha Nancy Jaco Newell, he had lived in the Bloomfield area most of his life. He had worked as a truck driver for 35 years and was of the Pentecostal belief.
On June 18, 1994, in Leora, he married Wanda Jane Whipple, who survives of the home in Bloomfield.
Other survivors include: four sons and spouses, John and Angie Newell, Adam and Chelsie Newell and Terry Thomas of Bloomfield and Joeye and Una Newell of LaClede, Ill.; four daughters and spouses, Tina and Darren Rodgers of Scott City, Amanda and Andy Chism of Bloomfield, Niomie and Kieth Zoellner of Friedheim, Breanna and Finney Eddington of Texarkana, Ark.; one brother, Ronald "Dale" Newell of Bloomfield; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Lee Newell; and father-in-law, Abie Whipple.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Robert Poe of Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
