Sara Alley

OCALA, Fla. -- Sara Susan Canedy Alley, 79, died Feb.13, 2018, in Marion County.

Born July 10, 1938, daughter of the late Murrell and Mildred Canedy, she lived in many states throughout her adult life as well as overseas in Japan before returning to Sikeston, Mo., where she worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center for 20 years.

On Aug. 7, 1981, in Sikeston, she married Jerry Pappy Alley, who survives of the home in Ocala.

Other survivors include: two sons, Bill Sampson and Robert Sampson; one daughter, Cathy McDaniel; one stepson, Rick Alley; and two stepdaughters, Tammy Cummins and Cheri Turner.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
