Peggy Beck

SIKESTON -- Peggy Jo Whitledge Beck, 77, died Feb. 12, 2018, at her home in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 3, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late James and Marjorie Smith DeLay, she attended Bell City School. She was of the Baptist belief and attended Sikeston Community Church.

On Sept. 1, 1989, in Sikeston, she married Joe Beck, who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2009.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Regina Pry of Cassville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Mike Jobe of Sikeston; one stepdaughter and her husband, Connie and Buddy Gardner of Sikeston; two sisters, Avis Holloway and Diane Frank; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one stepson, Joe Beck Jr.; one brother, Darrell DeLay; and one grandson.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Glen Cantrell, pastor of Sikeston Community Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.

Pallbearers will be: Craig Jobe, Zachary Pry, Brady Pry, Lance Gordon, Darren Brown and Noah Brown.
