Peters-Penrod

BERTRAND, Mo. -- David and Carolyn Peters have announced the engagement of their daughter, Blaire Elizabeth Peters, to Ian Jay Clayborn Penrod, son of Ricky and Kerri Penrod of East Prairie. A 2009 graduate of East Prairie High School, the future bride earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise and movement science in 2013 from Southeast Missouri State University, where she minored in cell and molecular biology. In 2015, she earned a Master of Science in health promotion from Missouri State University. She is employed by Southeast Missouri State University. The prospective groom is also a 2009 graduate of East Prairie High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in secondary education and social studies in 2015 from Lindenwood University. He is employed by East Prairie High School. Plans are being finalized for a Nov. 12 wedding.
