90th birthday celebration

On June 12, 2016, a 90th birthday celebration lunch was given in honor of Mrs. Emogean Mays of Sikeston, who was born June 12, 1926. The event was hosted by her children at the home of Marcia and Mark Woollums. Mrs. Mays has been blessed with seven children, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Those attending are pictured, from left: Mark and Marcia (Mays) Woollums of Dexter; Carlois (Mays) and Dewey Holmes of Bloomfield; Donna and Ron McDaniel of Sikeston; and seated is Mrs. Mays. Also attending were many of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Children unable to attend were Nathan and Linda Mays of Sikeston and Caroline (Mays) White, Russellville, Ark. Mrs. Mays' deceased children are Jim "Mac" McDaniel and Mary (Mays) Crowe.
