Connie Hubbard

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. -- Connie Mae Hubbard, 69, died Feb. 16, 2018, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

Born Oct. 4, 1948, in Caruthersville, daughter of Connie C. Hubbard and Arlena (Stanley) Hubbard-Jones, she graduated from Washington High School in Caruthersville, class of 1966. After graduation, she attended Lincoln University, Jefferson City, where she studied business administration. She lived in Los Angeles, Calif., for several years before returning to Caruthersville. She was a member of Bethel AME Church and later joined St. Paul MB Church in Caruthersville.

In addition to her parents, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Dominique and Stephanie Hubbard; four sisters, Rosalind Hubbard-Bowens, Linda Jones, Rose Jones and Arlene Jones; three brothers, Eric Hubbard, Calvin Jones and Terrance Hubbard; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul M.B. Church with the Rev. J. T. Spicer officiating.

Driver Funeral Service of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
