ESSEX, Mo. Earlene Kay Jung, 75, died March 13, 2018, at her home in Essex.

ESSEX, Mo. -- Earlene Kay Jung, 75, died March 13, 2018, at her home in Essex.

Born May 20, 1942, in Chickasha, Okla., daughter of the late Earl and Cora Kidd Wright, she worked as an in-home caretaker.

Survivors include: seven daughters, Nickie Odom of North Carolina, Melissa Hudson of Bell City, Tina Farris of Essex, Christel Manning of Cape Girardeau, Jill Anderson of Texas, Yvette Sterling of Oklahoma and Michelle Foster of Vanduser; one son, Mark Jung of Oklahoma; three brothers, Kermit, Larry and Curt Wright; two sisters, Wyona Taylor and Kim Sutterfield; and 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at the David Craig Ministries Life Church in Sikeston.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
