Lois DeJournett

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Lois Charline DeJournett, 68, died March 8, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 24, 1949, in Kennett, daughter of the late Hugh Dewitt and Imogene Rogers DeBerry, she had lived in Bloomfield most of her life.

On Nov. 18, 1966, in Bloomfield, she married Terry Wayne DeJournett, who preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 2013.

Survivors include: three sons, Lannie Joe DeJournett of Potosi, Marvin Hugh DeJournett of Bloomfield, Aaron Joe DeJournett of Boonville; three brothers, Hughie DeBerry of White Oak, Danny DeBerry of Florida and Johnny DeBerry of Dexter; one sister, Lafonda Correll of Florida; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by one son, Clifton Wayne DeJournett.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. James Malloy of Essex officiating.

Burial will follow.
