SIKESTON – Tamora Wilson, 22, died March 1, 2018, at her grandmother's home after her year-long battle with Ewing's Sarcoma.
Born Aug. 4, 1995, in Lansing, Mich., daughter of Tonya Florence of Sikeston and Reginald Wilson of Lansing, she was a 2014 graduate of Sikeston High School where she was an honor student. She was currently enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where she was on the Dean's List, and expected to graduate in May.
In addition to her parents, survivors include: four sisters, Tyesha Florence of Morrow, Ga., Takarra Wilson, Destiny Wilson and Dymon Wilson of Lansing; and her grandparents, Lillie Florence of Sikeston and Erma Chastine of Lansing.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston with Karlye Barnes Jr., pastor of Grand Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating.
The Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
