PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Louise Wolferding, age 95, passed away peacefully after a long and productive life on March 16, 2018, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
Born Jan. 23, 1923, in Cairo, Ill., to the late Henry and Bertha McGowan Hethmon.
In 1947, she married Floyd Christian Wolferding who preceded her in death on June 16, 1977.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter- in-law, Bruce and Diane Wolferding of St. Charles and Gary Wolferding of Poplar Bluf; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kris Becker and Mark Vollendorf of Eauclaire, Wis., and Randy Wolferding of Evanston, Ill.; five grandchildren, Brian Becker of Maddison, Wis., Leslie Thurmond of Eauclaire, Wis., Megan Wolferding of Chicago, Alex Wiss-Wolferding of Chicago and Blake Wolferding of Sikeston; two great-grandchildren, Amara Becker of Seattle, Wash.., and Chloe Thurmond of Eauclaire.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Hethmon; and one sister, Geraldine Morris.
No services are planned at this time.
