SIKESTON -- Aaron Lee Throop, age 53, died Oct. 5, 2016, at his home in Sikeston.

Born July 30, 1963, in St. Louis, to the late Robert Dean and Pearley Lave (Kelso) Throop, he was plant supervisro for Cott Beverage, enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist belief.

On July 17, 1981, he married Debbie Vangilder, and she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Stephanie Throop of Sikeston; one brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Paula Throop of Kelso; one sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Jim Fisher of Center, Texas; and one grandson, Xander Throop.

There will be a memorial service held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Basham, pastor of Cape First of Sikeston, will officiate.
