Terry Durden

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Terry Wayne Durden, 57, died Nov. 2, 2016, at the Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.

Born Aug. 2, 1959, in Hayti to the late Pearlie Mae Durden and William Tisdell, he served in the United States Army. He was a longtime construction worker for Terry Phillips and a member of the Zion Rock Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Terrence Durden; and two brothers, Clyde and Johnny Durden.

Survivors include: his wife, Onie Durden of Portageville; two sons, William Wayne Durden of Poplar Bluff and Christopher Wayne Durden of Portageville; two daughters, Terri Mae Durden of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Terkrisha Neomia Durden of Portageville; three brothers, Calvin Durden of Jonesboro, Ark., Wilbur Durden of Portageville and Roosevelt Durden of St. Louis; three sisters, Ollie Campbell of Memphis, Tenn., Iris Robinson of St.Petersburg, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the DeLisle Funeral Home. The Rev. Calvin Durden will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: William Durden, Christopher Durden, Roosevelt Durden, Wilbur Durden and the Rev. Calvin Durden.
