SIKESTON -- Glenda Sue Causey, 81, died Nov. 2, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 10, 1935, at Salcedo, daughter of the late William Arthur and Addie Bell Couch Miller, she was resident of this area most of her life and a member of Christ Gospel Church at Millersville where she formerly taught Sunday school.

On May 23, 1952, at Piggott, Ark., she married Clifford Doyle Causey, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Valarie Causey of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bill Knight of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; two sisters, Cartha Campbell of Elkhart, Ind., and Carolyn Miller of Sikeston; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Causey in 1960; and five brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Sikeston First Assembly of God Church, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Larry Matthews, pastor of Christ Gospel Church, officiating with assistance by the Rev. John McHaffie, pastor of Sikeston First Assembly of God Church.

Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.

Pallbearers will be: Charles Miller, Mike Miller, Troy Miller, Norman Miller, Raymond Miller and Gene Newell.
