EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Judy Kay Worthy, 64, died Nov. 12, 2016, at her home in East Prairie.

Born May 25, 1952, in East Prairie, to the late Walter Richard and Lila Blanch Hailey Ingram, she worked at the shoe factory and in the school cafeteria. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

On May 4, 1974, she married Donald Lee Worthy, who preceded her in death on April 24, 1998.

One son, Aaron Jacob Worthy; one daughter, Lila Dianne Worthy; three brothers, Ralph, Gene and Danny Ingram; and one sister, Margie Heidleburger also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Shannon Worthy of East Prairie; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Shane Shands of East Prairie; one brother, Jim Ingram of Wickliffe, Ky.; five sisters, Betty Childers and Sandy Henry of Sikeston, Linda McNair and Peggy Reed of West Memphis, Ark., and Sheila Holder of Bartlett, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First General Baptist Church with Martin Lucas officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Worthy, Glen Henry, Mark Henry, Steve Riggins, Lee J. Shands, and Benji Shands.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Shands, Nathaniel Shands and Chris Gephart.
