Elizbeth Winfield

SIKESTON -- Elizbeth Winfield, 83, died Dec. 5, 2016, at her home.

Born July 18, 1933, in Lexington, Miss., to the late Roy and Cora Meeks Meekie, she attended Life Church in Sikeston.

She was married to James Winfield.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry Winfield, James and Jane Winfield Jr., and Chris Winfield all of Sikeston and Billy and Stephanie Winfield of St. Louis; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Slaughter of Cape Girardeau, Diane and Jake Jones of Sikeston and Betty and Calvin Porter of Morley; and 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Friday at Life Church in Sikeston with with David Craig, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City with The Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
