LAWTON, Okla. -- Karen Lynn Jarrell, 60, died Dec. 5, 2016, at the hospital in Oklahoma City. Born Aug. 10, 1956, in Flint, Mich., she had lived in Lawton for many years and had worked for Dr. Parikh, the Heart and Vascular Center and with Comanche County Memorial Hospital. LAWTON, Okla. -- Karen Lynn Jarrell, 60, died Dec. 5, 2016, at the hospital in Oklahoma City.

Born Aug. 10, 1956, in Flint, Mich., she had lived in Lawton for many years and had worked for Dr. Parikh, the Heart and Vascular Center and with Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She was president of the Sweet Adeline's in Lawton and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

On Nov. 5, 1985, in Essex, Mo., she married Richard Boyd Jarrell, who survives of the home in Lawton.

Other survivors include: three brothers, Darryl Letts, Matt Letts and Nelson Letts Jr.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home in Lawton.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
