Faye Sanders

CHAFFEE, Mo. - Faye Sanders, 93, died Jan. 22, 2017, at her home.

Born Feb. 4, 1923, in Perkins, to the late Simon Peter and Elise Jennings Huey, she was a member of First Assembly of God of Jackson, where she had taught Sunday school classes and was active in Women's Ministries. She also attended First Christian Church of Chaffee.

On Jan. 29, 1946, in Benton, she married Earl J. Sanders, who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1998.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Richard, Huey Patrick and John Mark Sanders; six brothers, Emerson, Emit, Joe, Simon, Dorris and Dennis Huey; a granddaughter and a son-in-law.

Survivors include: one son, Robert E. Sanders of Whitewater; two daughters, Phyllis Faye Sanders-Kiser and Sally Jo Sanders of Chaffee; one brother, Merrill Ray Huey of Madison, Ill.; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.

Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee under the direction of Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
