ORAN, Mo. - Larry Dale Gadberry, 70, died March 24, 2017 at his family home in Oran.
Born July 14, 1946, in Russellville, Ark., to the late William and Minnie Terry Gadberry, he was a retired river boat assistant engineer with Marquette Transportation in Cairo, Ill. He was in the United States Army serving in Germany and Spain.
Survivors include: three sons and a daughter-in-law, Wesley and Rhonda Gadberry of Bowling Green, Ky., David Gadberry of Warrenton and Joseph Chaney of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Terry Gadberry of Oran; two sisters, Linda Simpson of Oran and Judy Magee of Sikeston; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Robert Smithey will officiate.
Burial with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
