Betty Ellis
PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Betty Sue Ellis, 84, died March 31, 2017, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 8, 1933, in Portageville daughter of the late Eula Montgomery Tanner and Walter Tanner, she was a member of the St Euatachius Catholic Church.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Underwood and Alba Mae Howard; four brothers: Wilford Charles,W.A. Gooden, Lloyd and Sibert Tanner; and a great-grandson, Jacob Harris.
Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Kevin Chambers of Atoka, Tenn., Angie and Jimmy Toton of Portageville and Jena and Sean Woodall of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Norma Jean Sander of Golden, Colo., and Syble Willey of Memphis, Tenn.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
Services will be Monday at St. Eustachius Church with the Rev. Daniel Robles officiating.
Burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Toton, Kevin Chambers, Sean Woodall, Ellis Chambers, Steven Barnett and Grant Woodall.
