BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Edna Fay Scheible, 68, died April 16, 2017, at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter.
Born Feb. 22, 1949, in Dexter, daughter of the late Ezra and Wilburn Smothers Sides, she had lived in Bloomfield and surrounding area all her life. She had worked as the Pike Township collector.
On Feb. 18, 1964, she married Eulish Eugene "Bud" Scheible, who preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2008.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Deanna Scheible of Bloomfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and David Kight and Lisa and David Maddox all of Bell City; one brother, Ezra Wayne Sides of Roodhouse, Ill.; three sisters, Jenny Jennings of Bell City, Sue McMichaels of Marcelles, Ill., and Kathy Ehlers of Illinois; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
