John Watts

MCCORMICK, S.C. - John Allard Watts, 79, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died June 24, 2017, at University Hospital

Born May 13, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the late John S. and Pearl Watts, he graduated from Sikeston High School and attended Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy at Rolla, Mo. In 1996, he retired from his position as manager for Fleming-Potter printing company and moved to McCormick, where he was a member of the McCormick Methodist Church.

In 1962, he married Doris Burchinal, who survives.

Also surviving are their children, Jeff Watts and Nancy Watson, and five grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for the family at 11 a.m. July 7, 2017, at the Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Advance, N.C. Ike Patterson will officiate.

Following the memorial service, there will be a private family burial.
