Marjorie DeJournett

JACKSON, Mo. -- Marjorie DeJournett, 92, died Aug. 12, 2017, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 2, 1924, in Illmo, to the late William and Laura Boss Foster, she attended Cape First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau.

On April 10, 1943, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jay DeJournett, who preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1997.

Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Connie and Jack Rinehart of Sikeston, Carrol DeJournett of Jackson; four grandchildren, Jay Rinehart of St. Louis, David Rinehart of Jackson, Dewayne Rinehart of Sikeston, and Martha Gardner of Cape Girardeau; and four great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jack, Clay and Sam Rinehart, all of Jackson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
