SIKESTON -- Harry Holsinger, 83, died Nov. 25, 2017, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born July 22, 1934, in Falls Church, Va., to the late Frances Strickler Holsinger and Lawrence Holsinger, he was a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church. Harry was office manager at Estes Motor Company before becoming office manager at Homestead for many years. He was past Exalted Ruler of Sikeston Elks Lodge, where he served as secretary treasurer for many years and a past District Deputy for the Missouri State Elks Lodge.

On July 8, 1954, he married Virginia Lochridge, who survives of the home.

He is also survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen Syre and Kathy (Doyne) Elliott both of Sikeston; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith (Deena) Holsinger of Olympia, Wash.; one sister, Betty (Tom) Bernardo of Virginia; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Carl (Kaye) Holsinger, Lowell (Leota) Holsinger and Ray Smoot all of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a very close friend, Mike Myers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Buchanon; his daughter-in-law, Marilyn Holsinger; his son-in-law, David Syre; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5 p.m. until the Elk's service at 6 p.m. followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. John Neeley, pastor of Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.
