Rodger Slayton

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Rodger Dale Slayton, 63, died Nov. 24, 2017, at Golden Living Center in New Madrid.

Born Nov. 21, 1954, in California, he was the son of the late Gladys Finney Slayton and Lawrence Slayton.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Slayton, Gary Slayton and Jimmie Slayton; and one sister, Evelyn Melton.

Survivors include: four brothers, Donald Slayton of St. Louis, Paul Slayton of Point Pleasant, Windell Slayton of Georgia and Joe Slayton of Point Pleasant; and one sister, Shirley Gray of New Madrid.

No services are scheduled.
