Dovie Duckworth

RISCO, Mo. -- Dovie Beatrice Duckworth, 95, died Jan. 20, 2018, at her home in Risco.

Born July 19, 1922, in Dry Bayou, daughter of the late Walter Jackson and Mary Cheshire Jackson, she had been the parts manager for Duckworth Garage in Risco and attended Pleasantview General Baptist Church in Risco.

On Jan. 19, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., she married David Franklin Duckworth, who preceded her in death on July 8, 2010.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Walker, Duckworth; and two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Rhonda Duckworth of Risco; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. The Revs. Joseph Duckworth and James Hamlett will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
