William Craven Jr.

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- William Alfred Craven Jr., 66, died Feb. 5, 2017, at the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility.

Born Oct. 16, 1950, in Charleston, son of Ameila Craven Morgan of Charleston and the late William Alfred Craven Sr., he worked at Brown Shoe Company for over 25 years until it closed. He also worked for the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility for more than 15 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, William Thomas Sinks of Charleston; one brother, Raymond Craven of Charleston; two sisters, Doris Woods of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Beverly Worthy of Jackson, Mich.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
