FULTON, Ky. -- Ronnie D. Bye, 74, died June 14, 2017, at the Baptist Health of Paducah.
Born to the late Carl Bye and Martha Earlene Blue Bye Sweet, he had retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn., and was a United States Army veteran where he served in Vietnam. He was a life member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Floyd Bye, whom he married February 8, 1992,
In addition to his wife, survivors include: his children and their spouses, Madeline (Katherine) Bye of South Fulton, Tenn., Rocky DeJournett of Puxico, Mo., Linda (Edward) Markle of Elizabethtown, Andy (Donna) Swallows and Debbie (Tom) Browder of Fulton, DeAnna (Chester) Ochalek and Nathan Baehler of Water Valley, Jason (Jessica) Baehler of Union City, Candace (Chris) Stewart and Bobby (Brittany) Higgins of Mayfield; one sister, Shirley Blue Aarant of Sikeston; and 21 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Lois Sweet; and a son, Larry DeJournett .
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until service time at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton.
